'RoadRunners Saved the day for Woodfield School's dream trip to enjoy the roller coasters of Thorpe Park.
THRILL-SEEKING pupils had a colossal day out thanks to a successful Surrey Mirror appeal. RoadRunners transported 140 special needs students and teachers for a day out at Thorpe Park back in August 2010.There they enjoyed the thrills and spills on roller coasters such as Collosus and Stealth.Merstham’s Woodfield School, Sunstone Grove, won the day out through charity Merlin Wizards. But they came within a few days of missing out on a day of thrills and spills after the coach company taking them doubled their price at the last minute.'
RoadRunners held a six a side cricket tournament on
the 1st of August 2010 to raise money for St Catherines
Hospice in Crawley, The charity event was held at
Southgate Cricket Ground in Crawley west Sussex and
over two thousand people attended the event, It was a
huge success for RoadRunners.
Roadrunner Accessible Transport operating in Surrey & Sussex has been transporting children with special needs with our fleet
of wheel chair accessible vehicles throughout the year, our drivers and passengers assistants kept going through the recent weather and only stopped when schools closed for safety reasons.
